On Wednesday, February 1st, Mayor Gina Cunningham delivered the 2017 State of the Village Address. Hosted by the Village and Chamber630, the well-attended event provided an opportunity to hear information on development activity, including the construction of an assisted living and memory care facility called Cedarhurst, a Pulte Homes townhome development currently under construction in Seven Bridges, and the addition of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants to the community. The Mayor also outlined increases in Woodridge jobs, a property tax that has not increased, elimination of the water utility tax, and initiatives to help support business expansion – including the availability of grants and the launching of a virtual business incubator, VirtuGrow, at www.virtugrowwdg.com.
