The Village of Downers Grove Public Works Department has a Crosswalk and Accessibility Project in the works! They are looking for our Downtown Business and Property owners for input! Please take a moment to read their informational letter, below, as well as take a look at their proposed ideas. This information can all be found on our website or by visiting here.
One idea not in the proposal but was discussed at our board meeting as well as at the business owner meeting this morning was the idea of painting the crosswalk with an optical illusion, see an example by clicking here.
Please review all of their information and provide them with feedback in regards to the sidewalks and crosswalks (the questionnaire can be found here)! This is your opportunity to speak, the more input the better!
