The Future of the Downers Grove Downtown Plan can be found here. It will be presented at the Village Council meeting on Tuesday, September 18 at 7:00pm and is available on the Village website.
This report was prepared in a manner:
- That incorporates the discussion and input from the Future of the Downtown ad hoc Committee meetings;
- Allows the current Village Council to discuss this topic at a broad, general level, providing direction on a plan that will be carried out over the next 1-2 years, with formal action to be taken by the Council seated in May 2019;
- Recognizes the important partnership between the Village and Downtown Management in creating a strong, vibrant Downtown over the past 20+ years.
