How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard….A.A. Milne

Dear Members of Chamber630,

After sixteen very happy and blessed years at the helm of first, Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and then Chamber630, I have decided to retire. At the end of January, I submitted my letter of resignation to Karyn Charvat, Chairman of the Board, effective June 30, 2023.

I’m excited, not only to start this new chapter, but also for the Chamber. New talent will bring fresh ideas, tremendous energy and will further ignite the amazing businesses of the very best Chamber of Commerce. Members are the organization, and for many reasons, I deeply believe that the synergy you’ve created within this organization is unsurpassed. 

I am proud of the work we have done together, much of which has created some very positive and long-lasting changes to people’s lives. I am especially proud of the 630 Workforce Education Foundation and its Attainable Futures program as workforce readiness is key to future business success.

Thank you for such a tremendous opportunity, it’s been a blast. Don’t be strangers.
