As you may or may not know, Chamber630 has a program with the local high schools called Attainable Futures.  This program addresses work readiness for sophomores and juniors, assisting them in career paths, application completion, business etiquette, interview techniques, etc.

We need your help!  We need 70 business professionals to participate in the Career Speed Networking.  We are looking for all different types of business professionals; attorneys, dentists, teachers, chefs, etc.  The networking will take place at Universal Technical Institute, 2611 Corporate West Drive, Lisle, from 9:15 am – 11:30 am on April 21stLunch will be provided for you after the networking ends at 11:30 am.

We respect your busy schedule, but hope you will take some time away from your business day to share your career information with the future workforce.  Our goal is to provide relaxed one-on-one discussions between our great Chamber Members and these terrific young professionals.  The students will be equipped with specific questions to ask you (which we will send each participant) and you will have the opportunity to meet about eight students.

If you are interested in participating, please email info@Chamber630.com.  If you are unable to attend, please forward this on to other individuals in your office who may be interested in joining us.

In order to facilitate all of the students involved in the program, please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to attend the networking session.  Additional details will be sent out in about a week.

Unable to attend the career speed networking on April 21st, but want to be involved?
Why not participate in our 50 @ $50!  There is no charge to students for this program; it is solely supported by businesses.  To fund this program, we are asking 50 businesses for $50.  With your sponsorship, an Attainable Futures logo will be added to your business directory listing on Chamber630.com, and your business flyer, coupon or card will be included in the packet provided to the students at the graduation luncheon in May.

Thank you for your support of our program and please feel free to contact Ann Hattan at (630) 968-4050 (or via email at info@Chamber630.com) if you have any questions.
