The Board of Directors of Chamber630 is proud to welcome to the Board, the following Members: Sean Patrick Durkin of Fifth Third Bank , Cathy Jama of Tenant Advisory Group; Amanda Kunzer, of Good Therapy Counseling; Karri McRight, Dimond Bros Insurance LLC; Matt Sweeney, of Midwestern University and Multi-Specialty Clinic; and Brad Whitacre of Whitacre Insurance Group. Also, the Board will be welcoming back for his second term, Tom Wilhelm of Allegra Marketing Print & Signs.
Members of the Board of Directors oversee the governance of the Chamber, the direction of its work and the control of its property. The term of a Director is three consecutive years. Each new Director is vetted by a Nominations Committee that includes other Board Members and Members at Large.
“I’m very excited to work with this dynamic group of individuals; Members are the Chamber and they serve as the very best resource of information and direction. After enduring the pandemic, we’re all ready for fresh ideas and I have no doubt, with this new group and the rest of the Board as a whole, we will deliver for the Membership,” said president & CEO, Laura Crawford.
Rolling off the Board after serving out their terms are Ami Chambers of College of DuPage, Wallace Long of Continuing Education Productions, Mike Nulicek of Edward Jones and Lori Ritzert of Community Bank of Downers Grove. Also rolling off the Board after serving two terms as Chairman, one term as Treasurer and for many years on the Executive Committee, is Dean Malone of Midwestern University. Dean’s inauguration started in October, 2008. His knowledge of accounting and his often depended upon creativity has greatly contributed to Chamber630. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Members, Chamber630 thanks these wonderful Members for their dedication and leadership. Ryan Bird of Byline Bank will once again serve as Chairman of the Board in the fiscal year of 2020-2021.
