College of DuPage will hold an “Educational and Career Planning” opportunity for individuals adversely affected by the recent ITT Tech closing. This on-campus event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22, in the Student Services Center (SSC), Room 2206, from 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Interested individuals will be able to meet with COD faculty and staff to discuss their future options, ranging from continuing their education to career advising and management of federal student loan debt. To ensure individuals are properly served, reservations are strongly encouraged. Please register online at www.cod.edu/rsvp/opportunity.

“As Illinois’ largest community college, we feel a responsibility to respond to the requests from the Illinois Community College Board and the Higher Learning Commission to help the students affected by the ITT closing and provide them with an option to continue or restart their education,” COD President Dr. Ann Rondeau said. “These students will have an opportunity to learn about and discuss options for continuing their educational journey, career advising and how to cope with their federal student loan debt.”
