Hummingbird to Host Free Zoom for Parents to Help Kids Cope with Grief
Westmont, IL – Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies is offering a free Zoom to parents and caregivers to help children cope with grief. Hummingbird Certified Grief Support Specialist Laura Cottrell, LCPC ATR-BC, will provide tips and insight, as well as take questions from parents. The Zoom will be held on Monday, July 11th from 7pm-7:30pm. It is open to the public, but registration is required. This Zoom will be off the record, out of privacy for families.
“Whether it is the recent tragic news or other events taking shape in individuals’ lives, grief is overwhelming for children and families,” said Cottrell, LCPC ATR-BC. “Hummingbird is offering a brief, free conversation for parents and caretakers to learn some steps we can take to navigate grief with our kids.”
