Happiness is being underwater!
It was an awesome week of Diveheart activities. Thanks so much to the volunteers, participants, veterans and donors who made three Diveheart Scuba Experience (DSE) programs in Palm Beach County Florida, Elgin Illinois and at Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin huge successes.
Rotarians come together again for Diveheart
In addition to the DSE’s Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Moraine Valley hosted a huge fundraiser featuring the popular Beatles tribute band American English, of which Diveheart was one of the beneficiaries. We can’t thank all the friends of Diveheart enough for their incredible support.

Partnerships promote programs!
This last week saw Diveheart Scuba Experience (DSE) events in three states and two continents! Over 100 people were in the water this past week experiencing freedom and friendship. It is thanks to new and continuing partnerships that our DSE events and programs are able to touch so many lives. Our newest Diveheart team, Diveheart Malaysia, had their first official event with participants from the People Support People PSP group and patients from the University Of Malaya Dept. of Spinal Corrective Rehabilitation Unit. Other events saw collaborations with the Triumph Foundation in Los Angeles, Palm Beach County in Florida, Scouts from Venture Crew #57 and the Naperville School District in Illinois.
Diveheart in the Spotlight
Diveheart Executive Director, Tinamarie Hernandez and Board Member, Bill Bogdan, were recently interviewed by Jane Wernette for the Naperville Community TV show Spotlight. Their personal testimonies, combined with Diveheart stories of hope and healing, help to grow awareness of the Diveheart mission of building confidence, independence and self esteem for children, adults and veterans with disabilities through Scuba Therapy.
