Sensory Sensitive Sundays, launched in June, continues on July 8, August 5, September 30, and October 28 at the Downers Grove Public Library. The library will open at noon, an hour earlier than usual, to give children with special needs and their families a chance to explore the library on their own terms. Children can look for books or movies and play in the Kids room with their parents and siblings.
The lobby will also be open where new movies, music and books are located for the whole family to browse and check out. These events are open to the public; no library card is needed.
Please register for each Sunday event two weeks before by calling (630) 960-1200 ext. 4279 or online at dglibrary.org/events.
