Network Your Way to a New Career! DuPagePads first annual Career Fair will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 703 West Liberty in Wheaton from 10:00am-2:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from 12 local employers from a variety of fields including healthcare, manufacturing, security, tech support and more.
The agency’s Career Employment Solutions program, and its network of 74 employer partners, are integral to assisting participants obtain economic sustainability.
“No longer are we helping people find any short-term job; we are now matching our participants with careers that have upward growth and the ability to earn a living wage. This Career Fair is an exciting new format to introduce motivated community members to highly respected, local employers,” says Carol Simler, DuPagePads President & CEO.
The registered employers that will be present include: UPS, Jane Addams Resource Corporation (JARC), Georgia Pacific, Grove Dental Associates, Xerox, G4S Around the World, WorkNet DuPage, Cintas, Image First, The Home Depot, Swap.com and Lexington Health Network.

Any community member looking for a new career is welcome. Attendees are recommended to dress to impress and bring along copies of their updated resume.
