Features New Kids Corner and Congregation Challenge

Kids Corner
WHEATON, ILLINOIS – DuPagePads is calling all walkers and runners, individuals and families to the 13th Annual Run 4 Home on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 8:00am, beginning at 703 West Liberty in Wheaton. This 10K and 5K CARA and USATF certified course will appeal to serious runners, casual joggers and walkers.
This year we are pleased to introduce two NEW features to our race. The first of which is an all NEW Kids Corner! A shortened 1K course is available along with face painting, games, prizes, magic tricks and more. Secondly, we are introducing a friendly competition…the largest congregation that participates in the race will receive a free ticket for each participant to our Wake Up Your Spirit breakfast on November 8, with keynote speaker Eric Soderholm.
Following the race, attendees are invited to stay for music, refreshments and awards. A handful of the available awards include Top 3 Male/Female Finishers for each age division, Male/Female King of the Hill, Top Fundraising Team and Individual. Online registration is available at www.padsrun.org.
“We are incredibly thankful for our supporters. From our sponsors to attendees and volunteers, all funds raised make an impact on our mission. This year, we are thrilled to announce our Diamond Sponsor, JD Norman Industries, who has amazed us with their generosity,” said Carol Simler, DuPagePads President & CEO.
