2nd Annual Swing for 40!
DuPagePads 2nd Annual Swing for 40 will be held Sunday, August 26th, 2018 at Frontier Park in Naperville starting at 11:00am. 16 teams will participate in a softball tournament to hit homelessness out of the park while having fun competing against one another.

Teams enjoy friendly competition at the Swing for 40 tournament.
A team fundraising webpage is set up for each fundraising team of at least 10 people, including at least three females, making it easy and secure to collect donations and share with friends and family. Each team has a goal of raising $2,500. These tax-deductible donations will support DuPagePads’ programs that provide housing, coupled with support services and employment to assist families and individuals who are homeless in DuPage County. The team that collects the most funds will receive a trophy, as well as the tournament champion team.
DuPagePads Swing for 40 is a fun, co-ed team-building activity and a perfect social outing for friends, families and companies. Every donation of at least $25 enters individuals in a raffle for amazing prizes: Cubs tickets, White Sox tickets, jerseys and even a bat signed by Cubs legend Ernie Banks. In addition to the raffle prizes, there will be a Split the Pot collection.
After the event, a post-tournament pizza celebration will be held at The Foundry in Aurora with pizza generously provided by one of our sponsors, Salerno’s Pizza. Salerno’s Pizza will also be providing the winning team with “bonus surprise” items!
Last year, members of the DuPagePads Young Professionals Board participated in DuPagePads’ first softball tournament. “This was a great team building experience to strengthen our DuPagePads Young Professionals Board. We not only worked on fundraising together, but competed as a team the day of the event. Our group rallied together to win second place in the tournament and we are looking forward to competing again this year,” says Tom Peters, DuPagePads Young Professionals Board Chair.
