The FISH Food Pantry is studying options to move out of our current basement location in the
Downers Grove Township Building at 4340 Prince St. We are grateful for the 33 years we’ve
been there, but it’s time to find a place where we can operate on a first floor level. Being on one
floor will allow us to serve our clients in an environment which will be safer, more convenient,
and more efficient.
To meet this goal, we are assembling a committee from the FISH organization and the
community at large. There are many capable people in the Downers Grove area who could
help make decisions and lend expertise in multiple areas under consideration. If you have ideas,
recommendations, and time, you are who we are looking for.
We have assisted our most vulnerable citizens for 46 years, all made possible by you, the
citizens of Downers Grove, Lisle, Westmont, Woodridge, and Darien. In addition, many grocery
stores, churches, schools, scout groups, sports groups, businesses, The U.S.Post Office Food
Drive have donated food, clothing, and money which has kept us in operation all these years.
We consistently assist more than 4,000 people a year.
