Follows the first toy drive which collected hundreds of donations

Woodridge, IL – Following the incredible generosity and growing interest from the Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies community, Hummingbird, in partnership with Illinois State Representative Deanne Mazzochi’s Office, is announcing a second toy drive for Ukrainian children from May 2nd-5th.

This second toy drive follows the successful first drive in April which shipped hundreds of donations to Ukrainian children.

People are encouraged to drop off any of the following items to Hummingbird’s Westmont or Woodridge locations:

·      Small Stuffed Animals

·      Small Baby Toys (Rattles, etc.)

·      Diapers (Newborn to Size 5)

·      Children’s Books

·      Coloring Books

·      Children’s Vitamins

Please, NO electronics or large, heavy items. All donations must be new and fit within the size of a shoe box.

Additionally, people may ship items to Hummingbird directly from any online store. Items must arrive by May 5th.

“Since our first toy drive, we’ve had growing interest to send more items to Ukrainian children,” said Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies owner Christina Scalise-Morrissey. “Our Hummingbird community came together quickly in April to help provide some joy to little ones in Ukraine and we look forward to doing so again in May.”

All toys and baby donations will be shipped directly to Ukraine.
