Woodridge, IL – Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies families and friends, Hummingbird, in partnership with Illinois State Representative Deanne Mazzochi’s Office, recently shipped hundreds of donations to Ukrainian children. Items were collected at Hummingbird’s Woodridge and Westmont locations.
Hummingbird’s toy drive ran for about two weeks with the goal of bringing some comfort to the children of Ukraine who have been displaced and have lost everything.
“It’s our hope that these toys will give Ukrainian children a little light in the midst of an incredibly difficult time,” said Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies owner Christina Scalise-Morrissey. “Thank you to our Hummingbird community – our families and friends – who worked quickly to donate and ship hundreds of items to these precious kids.”
All toys and baby donations have been shipped directly to Ukraine.
