DuPagePads, an organization dedicated to ending homelessness in DuPage County, has added two new Vice Presidents to its leadership team – Chad Pedigo as Vice President of Development and Scott Austgen as Vice President of Programs.
Chad Pedigo (Vice President of Development) joins DuPagePads after 11 years of servant leadership and investment in the DuPage County community. Most recently, Chad served as Director of Community Engagement at Bridge Communities, a DuPage County organization focused on transforming the lives of homeless families. He has served as Executive Director (2014), President (2016) and Region Director (2018) for the Naperville and Illinois Jaycees, where his efforts helped innumerable organizations raise significant volunteerism and funds. Chad is an alumnus of North Central College, earning a Master of Leadership Development, and serves as a leadership consultant most recently with the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. In addition to his leadership roles on local nonprofit boards, commissions and foundations, Chad actively volunteers and enjoys sharing time with his growing family and friends supporting local causes like DuPagePads to end homelessness and create positive change throughout our vibrant community.
Scott Austgen (Vice President of Programs) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in social services and with people experiencing homelessness for over 18 years. Most recently, Scott was first the Coordinator of Behavioral Health Day Treatment andthen an Associate Director of Behavioral Health at Cornerstone Services in Joliet, IL. Previously, Scott was Project Director of the Community Homeless Integration Project at the Renz Addiction Counseling Center, also serving as a counselor at Renz’s offices in St. Charles and Elgin, IL. He has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of St. Francis and Master of Social Work from Aurora University.
