Chamber630 is especially proud of the Education Connection Committee; this group spearheads the workforce development program called Attainable Futures and a sub-committee manages the Chamber630 scholarship.

May 11th will be the concluding session of Attainable Futures. After three half day sessions at various businesses, the students will ‘graduate’ at the General Membership Luncheon being held at College of DuPage, specifically in the Student Resource Center. Sponsored by the Education Foundation of District 99, the students will receive a brief lesson on business etiquette and then will join our Members to network during the mini-expo, prior the luncheon. If you are interested in showcasing your business to not only the Membership but parents, students and teachers, click here for more information.

After reviewing many very worthy applications for the Chamber630 scholarship, Matthew Mahlan of Downers Grove South High School was chosen to receive a $750 stipend to assist in furthering his education. His associate Chamber630 Member is Follett School Solutions, Inc. Congratulations Matthew!

Thank you for your Membership,
