This Labor Day Weekend, the Naperville Jaycees Last Fling will host popular and locally known bands on the Block Party Stage off Jackson Ave.
The action kicks off on Friday, Aug. 31 with Bad Medicine, Chicagoland’s premier Bon Jovi cover band. Bad Medicine will take you through the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s extensive catalog at 8pm. Start the evening with Poison’d Crue at 5:30pm and hear top hits from 80’s rock favorites Poison, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, and more.
Saturday, Aug. 1 prepare to softly rock with headliners The Ron Burgundy’s! Playing hits from Billy Joel, Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins and more at 8pm. The music starts at noon with Planet Groove, featuring high energy dance hits from the 60’s to today, with a 3 piecehorn section and 7 vocalists. Then patrons can enjoy Coverlicious, who blend party, rock and country tunes at 2pm. OMT performs a wide variety of rock music from classic to current with a goal of reaching everyone at 4pm. We’ll take a short trip back to the 1990’s with 3AM playing rock hits from Matchbox 20 to 3 Doors Down.
On Sunday, Sept. 2 the main act is Broseph at 8pm, a high energy country band covering a wide range of artists from Fall Out Boy to Jason Aldean. The day kicks off at noon with Lincoln Don’t Lie playing chart topping modern country hits. At 2pm Dixie Crush takes the stage covering some of today’s biggest country artists. Kenny Chesney tribute band No Shoes No Shirt All Party will play at 4pm. Planfield, Il native Eric Chesser plays at 6pm with his unique style of contemporary country music.
Monday, September 3 headliners are classic rock cover band ARRA at 6pm performing the biggest hits of the biggest bands of all times with precision and excellence! The day begins with Billy Elton at 12:30pm playing your favorite Billy Joel and Elton John classics. Heart to Heartbreaker captures the energy of the female rock legends Pat Benatar and Heart at 2:30pm. Local act TAKE THE REINS plays at 4:15pm led by frontwoman Courtney Boyers.
