Catholic Charities is hosting their annual Back to School Fair on August 2, 2017 in Wheaton and they are looking for over 150 volunteers!
For more than 15 years Catholic Charities has helped over 2,000 low-income familiesin DuPage County prepare their children for school with their annual Back to School Fair. They provide necessities such as backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, dental screenings and much more.
This year Catholic Charities is expecting even more families to attend, meaning they need even more volunteers! To ensure the fair goes smoothly they need 150 volunteers to be a part of the Back to School Fair.
Volunteers at the event will help check-in/register families, distribute school supplies and help ensure families continue to move through the fair and visit all the booths.
Additional volunteers are needed the day before on Aug 1 to help fill backpacks with school supplies and set up. Volunteers are also needed to help break down the day after on Aug 3.
