People’s Resource Center’s (PRC) Job Assistance Program is hosting its 5th Annual Career Fair on Thursday, March 12, from 9am – Noon at its Westmont office, 104 Chestnut Avenue. The event is open to the public.
Twenty companies, from Brookfield Zoo to Crate & Barrel to Mariano’s are attending and ready to hire.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with hiring experts who will advise on topics such as interviewing, interview-ready clothing, LinkedIn and online skill assessments. Job-seekers can have a professional photo taken and create a Linkedin profile. PRC Job Coaches will be on hand for resume reviews.
The Job Assistance program at People’s Resource Center helps underemployed and unemployed residents of DuPage County find and keep a job. The program provides one-on-one job search coaching and workshops. PRC also partners with area employers to connect pre-screened, qualified candidates with employers seeking to hire. Job search assistance services are available throughout DuPage County.
