Perma-Seal is moving its headquarters to Naperville. The company placed a bid on a 5-acre plot of land in an industrial area on Quincy Avenue, owned by the City of Naperville. On Tuesday, May 17th the Naperville City Council approved the bid and authorized staff to sell the land to Perma-Seal. The company’s expansion in recent years has found them outgrowing their Downers Grove facility, where nearly 190 of its approximately 250 employees currently work. The purchase of a vacant lot lends Perma-Seal the opportunity to build a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that will meet the company’s existing and future needs.

Roy Spencer, President and Owner of Perma-Seal, said he would like his Tribe under one roof, instead of dispersed in separate buildings, as is the case at their present location. “For the past two years, we’ve looked at dozens and dozens of facilities and while there are a lot of vacant facilities out there, very few had the parking considerations we needed.” Spencer said.

Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico is excited for the company to join the Naperville community. “Perma-Seal is a brand name throughout Chicagoland”, Mayor Chirico said. “To have it affiliated with our brand in Naperville I think is a win-win situation.” Perma-Seal plans to continue expanding its operations and product offerings and now has the opportunity to build a facility specifically designed to accommodate that future growth. Perma-Seal has additional warehouse facilities in Elk Grove Village and Hammond, Indiana to serve the entire Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas. For more information about Perma-Seal, visit or call 800-421- 7325.
