Mystery at the Museum

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Caution – this is an egg hunt zone! Grab your flashlights and baskets and head to the McCollum Park ballfields where you’ll search for candy-stuffed eggs under the moonlight. Participants with food allergies may be exposed to allergens. The hunt starts at 7:45 pm sharp, so arrive early! Registration deadline is March 20. No registration will be taken onsite.

Go outside after a long winter! Spend your spring break discovering all of the changes that happen at Lyman Woods during the exciting spring season. Each day of camp includes fun crafts, games, outdoor adventures and a mid-camp snack. Dress to get muddy and wet, but in case of inclement weather, the program will be held indoors. Choose from half day or full day options. Please bring a lunch if staying for the full day camp.

Sponsored by the Downers Grove Park District, Fire Department and Police Department, Passport to Safety offers safety tips for all ages. Each child will receive a passport at the beginning of the event and use it to meet local safety personnel and learn important tips to keep you safe in and around your home. Afterwards, head outside to touch, see and explore trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
32nd Annual Road Rally
Saturday, April 14, 3 PM check-in; 3:30 PM start

Looking for adventure? Grab your neighbors and friends to create a team of 4 to
6 adults per vehicle. You will get a map and bag of clues; you’ll need teamwork, logic
and luck to stay on track. Some clues are helpful while others are designed to throw
you off course. This exciting and somewhat physically challenging four-hour scavenger
hunt on wheels will test your mind, body and teamwork, so put on your thinking caps and start your engines! At the completion of the rally, teams meet for an awards presentation and socialize at a pizza dinner. This fun-filled event is coordinated with the Bolingbrook, Lisle, Naperville and Woodridge Park Districts. Space is limited. Registration deadline is April 11.
