Chamber Friends:

Below is the weekly update of U.S. Chamber items published between February 22nd and March 1st.    As always, please feel free to reuse, reprint, or repurpose any of this material in your communications with your members.

Additionally, we want to update you on significant developments regarding the EPA Waters of the U.S. rule and the DOL fiduciary rule.  On Tuesday, President Trump issued an executive order directing the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers to review the Waters of the U.S. rule with the intent to revise or repeal the rule.  And, today, the Department of Labor issued a notice of proposed rulemaking to delay the fiduciary rule.  For the time being, each rule remains on the books, but it is now clear that the administration is considering options to make major changes to each rule.  For more information, please see our press release on the Waters of the U.S. executive order, and our press release on the fiduciary rule notice of proposed rulemaking.
