On Tuesday, August 16, 2016 the Village Council appointed Marge Earl to fill the Council vacancy created by the resignation of David Olsen, who accepted an appointment to serve as 81st District State Representative.

Ms. Earl currently serves as Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and is on the Comprehensive Planning Ad-Hoc Committee. She has been a ZBA member since 2007 and also served on the Ad-Hoc Housing Committee (2007).

“I’m excited to continue serving the community in my new capacity as a Village Council Member,” Ms. Earl said.

“I’m thrilled to announce the appointment of Marge Earl to the Village Council.  She has been a stalwart Board and Commission member which gives her great insights on the key issues facing our community,” Mayor Martin Tully said.

Ms. Earl will be officially sworn in on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
