Woodridge IL–West Suburban Community Pantry will kick off the celebration of its 30th Year serving communities throughout DuPage County, Bolingbrook and Romeoville by hosting the 10th Annual Chefs Culinary Celebration on Sunday, February 20th at the Chicago Marriott Naperville.

The event will feature small plates prepared by notable chefs from across the region, vying for top honors based on guests’ votes. The evening will also feature cocktails, wine, music and auction.

“Over the last ten years this has become our premiere event, raising critical funds to help us achieve our goal of nourishing the human spirit as we work toward our vision of a community without hunger,” says Development Director Lisa Spaeth. “We all know that food brings people together. That togetherness and comfort, dignity and respect are what we work to offer our neighbors and their families every day.”

100% of the proceeds from the event will help the Pantry offer food and supportive services to neighbors in need. With your support, the Pantry will continue to increase their reach and capacity to serve the growing needs of over 5,600 adults, children, and senior citizens who seek  assistance each month.

“We are monitoring public health guidelines closely as we plan the event,” says Spaeth. “We will work to design the event around the latest guidance to ensure the safety of all of our chefs, supporters and guests. We may restructure the event as the need arises.”

West Suburban Community Pantry (WSCP) provides food and resources to people facing hunger, unlocking access to nutritious meals, and strengthening hope for tomorrow.
