“We are pleased to work with the DuPage Health Coalition to offer access to vaccinations to anyone who may not have been able to get them before this,” says Laura Coyle, Executive Director of West Suburban Community Pantry. “We realize that many families struggle to access health care for the same reasons they struggle to access food, including lack of transportation, inconvenient work hours, child care challenges, language barriers and pride. We’ve made it our mission to overcome these challenges to provide families with the food and supplies they need to stay healthy. Getting people vaccinated fits right into this mission. We’re grateful this partnership can help.”
Visitors to the pantry for this event may also register for food support if they qualify. For more information on vaccinations, visit www.accessdupage.com. For information on West Suburban community Pantry and food support, visit www.wscpantry.org.
