To stay connected with our clients the Residence Inn & Springhill Suites Marriott would like to communicate with you during this global pandemic via a weekly newsletter. We value our relationship and want to continue to be transparent and informative of our operation during this time.
First and foremost, both hotels are remaining open for business and welcome new reservations daily. Currently all the reservations that the Springhill Suites receives will be moved to the Residence Inn until it becomes full. The thought process behind this is the Residence Inn has all the comforts of home. Each room is equipped with a kitchen that features a stovetop, full size refrigerator, utensils and pots and pans-guest can go to the grocery store and prepare their own meals during the limited restaurant choices at this time. We want to make this period of distress as comfortable as possible for our clients and community guests.
At Springhill Suites Marriott & Residence Inn Marriott Bolingbrook, the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers is always our first priority. During this critical time, we are actively monitoring the COVID19 and complying with this situation and taking steps to help keep our community safe.
As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have limited the size of meetings, closed our pool, fitness center, and are providing breakfast grab and go bags. We continue to reinforce safe behavior in every environment.
We have implemented a deep-cleaning program. We are partnering with manufacturers to source as many sanitizers and protective supplies as possible. Additionally, we have protocols in place that activate closures, disinfection and appropriate quarantine procedures based on recommendations by government and health agencies.
We are in continuous communication with our employees reminding them about the importance of good hygiene, providing them with health education and support whenever needed. Employees who feel ill have been told to not report to work. We are taking employee temperatures when they arrive to work and monitoring them throughout the day.
We will get through this, and we will get through it together as a community, as clients, as partners and as people. The teams at both properties want you to know they value our relationships, friendships and support throughout the entire year.
