The South East Association for Special Parks And Recreation (SEASPAR) hosted its 17th annual Summer Golf Classic fundraiser on Friday, July 12 at the Woodridge Park District’s Village Greens of Woodridge.
Nearly 40 golfers competed in the four-person team scramble tournament, which raised more than $7,000 to support SEASPAR’s recreational programs
and services for individuals with disabilities served by the park districts of Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lemont, Lisle, Westmont, and Woodridge, and the villages of Brookfield, Indian Head Park, and Western Springs.
The winning foursome for the golf tournament was Ben, Bob, Don, and Scott Westberg. Bob Westberg of Woodridge was the winner of the putting contest.
