Simply Beautiful Day Spa proudly announces the grand opening of a new location in Downers Grove. A ribbon cutting took place on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 5:15 pm, followed by a reception from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
After 25 years serving Lombard, the Simply Beautiful Day Spa is pleased to join the Downers Grove community. “We are so excited to finally be opening our brand-new location in Downers Grove! At the grand opening event on September 12, guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and swag bags, along with special offerings on rejuvenating services and products.

Encased in beautiful Himalayan salt walls and flooring, the salt therapy room features a state-of-the-art Halogenerator which releases pharmaceutical grade salt into the room while guests relax on zero gravity chairs. Halo Therapy can impact people suffering from respiratory conditions such as allergies, asthma, chronic sinus conditions, COPD and cystic fibrosis. The antibacterial salt improves acne, psoriasis and eczema. Other benefits include a reduction in stress levels, improvement in overall immune function, reduction in general cold symptoms, improved circulation, and decreased occurrences of headaches.
More than 30 years ago, Horejs became a licensed esthetician, studying business, advanced esthetics, massage therapy, electrolysis and hairdressing at Leigh College in England. A graduate of the City and Guilds of London Institute for Beauty Therapy, Horejs also received advanced electrolysis certification from The London Institute. The Spa’s staff includes licensed estheticians, massage therapists, nail technicians, makeup artists and receptionists. All of the therapists have more than six years of experience and extensive, advanced training in their fields.
The new Simply Beautiful Day Spa boasts 5 treatment rooms, a Serenity room, and a manicure and pedicure room. Services at the 2,000-square-foot Spa include specialty facials and masks, massage therapy, manicures and pedicures, body wraps and treatments, salt therapy, lash and brow lifts and tints, cosmetics, waxing and electrolysis.
