South High School’s Superhero Homecoming Week includes a variety of events for community members to attend on September 19 and 20.
Thursday, Sept. 19
Community Movie Night at 7:30 p.m. in Courtyard
Community members are invited to watch Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse in the DGS Courtyard. Be sure to bring your own chairs, blankets, and snacks. Enter the building through the West Events Entrance.
Friday, Sept. 20
Parade at 3:15 p.m.
Students and community members are invited to watch the Homecoming Parade. Click here to view the route!
Community Facilities Tour at 4:30 p.m.
Phase A of the Master Facility Plan construction is complete! Community members are invited to take a peek at the completed projects and look ahead at what will be completed in Phase B. The Master Facility Plan renovations will be complete in the fall of 2021. Tour participants can meet at the new Main Entrance near the Mustang statue.
Varsity Football Game at 7:30 p.m.
Cheer on the Mustangs as they play Proviso East! Sophomore game is at 5 p.m. and Varsity game is at 7:30 p.m. Homecoming Court will be recognized before the Varsity football game.
